The Brickery is a café where guests can enjoy food and drinks while building LEGO® sets and loose bricks.

We open on Saturday from 10am - 4pm and Sunday 10am - 4pm for LEGO fans of all ages. You can book ahead or try your luck with a 'walk-in' - although we can get very busy so booking is recommended. We open on Saturday nights from 6pm - 10pm for Adult Fans of LEGO only (AFOL) 18+. Adult nights must be booked in advance!

It's £5 per person, per hour. All guests must book a seat and will be charged the hourly fee, whether building or not.

Depending on your age and/or ability, we estimate an average build time of 300 pieces per hour. On our Set Menu, you can filter by build time and recommended age to help you find the perfect set. We recommend booking a 2 hour slot. This should give you enough time to choose a set, order a drink and a snack and have enough time to tackle a 1 or 2 hour set within the time limit. We will always extend your time if requested, and we have space available to do so - just let us know!

Sure! Just tell us the set name and number on our booking form and we'll set it aside for you. We cannot always guarantee the availability of a requested set, but we will always try our best to accomodate. Keep your eyes peeled for information on 'The Vault' - our premium 'reserve only' set selection coming soon!

We have FREE parking facilities in our car park, or free street parking on The Rutts. Alternatively, there is a pay and display car park a short walk away.

You can build as many as you like - just one at a time please! If you finish early and have some build time left, let us know and we'll happily swap your set for a new one. We've even got a Quick Build filter on our set menu to find those super speedy builds!

The maxiumum number of guest we can accomodate in a group booking is 6 people. This is to avoid our tables becoming too chaotic, and helps us limit the chance of our sets being mixed up. We are happy to take multiple table bookings to accomodate more people - however, we ask that adults must be sat with children under 14, and that children are not left alone on their own table.

We recommend booking in advance on our website, but we welcome walk-ins if we have space!

Besides our 18+ AFOL nights... No! LEGO is for everyone, and everyone is welcome at The Brickery. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

If we’re not fully booked then you can continue to build at your table and just pay for the extra time you need. If someone else has booked your table, we'll try to find you an alternative space to carry on building - just come and let us know!

Absolutely! Our sets are regularly checked by our staff and washed regularly. We provide hand sanitizer on every table and encourage our customers to use it before every build.

With so many sets and pieces in our rotation, an occasional missing piece can happen — it may have been misplaced by a previous builder, fallen on the floor, or simply slipped through our regular checks. Don’t worry though: most missing pieces won’t affect your build. If one does, we’ll do our best to find a spare so you can keep going. And if a set can’t be built any further, we’ll happily swap it for another so you can continue the fun. We do rely on our customers notifying us if they have a missing piece or if they've accidently misplaced or lost one during their build - don't be afraid to let us know! Accidents happens and pieces can be replaced, but only if we know about them!

The safety of our customers, and particularly young builders, is a priority. We work hard to provide a safe, calm and enjoyable building experience for all. Whilst our staff are always visible around the café during build sessions, Parents/Guardians are solely responsible for the supervision and care of their children whilst visiting The Brickery. As we are a working café, we kindly ask that children are reminded to remain at their tables for the duration of their session. Parents/Guardians are encouraged to build alongside their children—it’s a shared experience designed for all ages!

Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted unless they are special assistance or guide dogs.

Yes, situated in our disabled toilet. We kindly ask that customers take all soiled nappies with them though due to hygiene reasons.

Yes — our entrance is street level and we have an accessible toilet on the ground floor. Please let us know when you book if anyone in your group has any specific mobility needs.

Yes, we offer a café menu including coffee, tea, soft drinks, and a range of snacks and pastries.

On Saturday and Sunday Day opening hours, only food and drinks purchased in our café are allowed. On our Saturday night AFOL sessions, adult guests are invited to 'Bring Your Own Bottle' (alcoholic beverages only) for a small corkage fee, but must purchase all coffees, teas, soft drinks and mixers from our café.
