Terms & Conditions for Table Booking Deposits

These Terms & Conditions set out the agreement between The Brickery Cafe Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) in relation to table booking deposits.


By placing a deposit with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.

1. Deposit Requirement

1.1. A deposit is required to confirm certain table bookings, particularly for larger groups or special events.
1.2. The deposit amount and accepted payment methods will be clearly provided at the time of booking.
1.3. All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless otherwise stated in these Terms or agreed in writing.
1.4. Deposits for group or party bookings are also non-refundable and non-transferable, unless an exception is expressly confirmed by us.

2. Pricing for Table Use
2.1. Table bookings are charged at a rate of £4 per hour per person.
2.2. Charges are calculated in full hourly increments only. We do not charge for smaller time increments. For example, if you request or remain for 1.5 hours, you will be charged for a 2-hour stay.
2.3. The total charge will be based on the number of guests in your booking and the total hours charged.
2.4. Any additional time beyond the original booking period is subject to table availability and will be charged accordingly.

3. Cancellations

3.1. If you wish to cancel your booking and request a deposit refund, you must contact us directly by telephone or email at least 24 hours before your booking time.
3.2. Cancellations made after this notice period will result in your deposit being forfeited.
3.3. We reserve the right to cancel a booking in exceptional circumstances. If this happens, you will be informed promptly and your deposit will be refunded in full.

4. Refunds

4.1. All refunds are at our discretion and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
4.2. If your cancellation meets the notice period stated above, we may refund your deposit.
4.3. If we cancel your booking for any reason, your deposit will be refunded in full.

5. Changing Your Booking

5.1. Requests to amend the date, time, or size of your booking should be made directly by phone or email.
5.2. Any changes are subject to availability and our approval.
5.3. If a change cannot be accommodated and you choose to cancel, the cancellation terms above will apply.

 

6. Liability

6.1. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by the cancellation or alteration of a booking, whether initiated by you or us.
6.2. We accept no liability for the loss of or damage to personal belongings while you are on our premises.

 

7. Our Rights

7.1. We reserve the right to refuse bookings or service to any person, for any lawful reason, at our sole discretion.
7.2. We may update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. The most recent version will always be available on our website.

 

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
