Creative Play, Clubs & Enrichment for Schools

Educator-led LEGO-themed provision supporting creativity, collaboration and engagement.

About Us

The Brickery is an independent creative play and enrichment provider led by qualified teachers with over 16 years’ experience in primary education. Our provision is rooted in strong safeguarding practice, inclusive values and a clear understanding of how children learn and engage. We work closely with schools to deliver flexible, LEGO-themed clubs and sessions that support creativity, collaboration and confidence.

After-School Clubs

Our LEGO-themed after-school clubs provide a calm, structured and engaging end to the school day. Sessions are designed to support creativity, collaboration and problem-solving through guided building challenges and open-ended play.

Clubs are suitable for EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with activities adapted to the age and needs of each group. Clear routines and expectations help children feel confident and included, while working in pairs or small groups encourages communication, turn-taking and teamwork.

All resources are provided, and clubs can be run as parent-paid provision or organised directly through the school, depending on preference.

Small Group Creative Play & SEND-Friendly Sessions

We offer small-group creative LEGO-based play sessions designed to support children who benefit from a quieter, more focused environment. These sessions work well as part of nurture provision, SEND support or targeted enrichment.

Groups are kept small to allow for flexibility and individual support. Sessions focus on building confidence, communication and collaborative skills through carefully structured LEGO-based activities, with space for creativity and choice.

Our approach is inclusive and responsive, working alongside school staff to complement existing support structures without replacing specialist provision.

Coding & STEM Enrichment

Our brick-based coding and STEM sessions introduce children to early programming concepts through hands-on, practical learning. Using age-appropriate resources, pupils work collaboratively to solve problems, test ideas and develop logical thinking.

Sessions can be delivered as after-school clubs, enrichment workshops or one-off experiences and are suitable for KS1 and KS2. Activities are designed to be accessible and engaging, with an emphasis on teamwork, resilience and curiosity rather than screen-based learning alone.

Coding sessions provide a valuable opportunity to develop computational thinking in a creative, supportive environment.

Home-Educated Children: 1:1 & Small Group Sessions

We also offer Lego-themed creative play and enrichment sessions for home-educated children.

These can be delivered as 1:1 sessions or in small groups, depending on need and preference.

Sessions are flexible and can include creative building, collaborative play, problem-solving activities and introductory coding. They are designed to support confidence, communication and social interaction, while allowing children to engage at their own pace in a calm, structured environment.

Provision can be tailored to suit individual interests and needs, with a focus on positive engagement rather than formal assessment.

All provision is educator-led, fully resourced and adaptable to the needs of individual schools.

We also offer 11+ tuition and academic support for the South West Herts Consortium tests.
